Well, if this didn't just knock me right off my chair...
Sitting there, minding my own business, when a Google Alert shows up in my inbox.
"Oh sweet, a blog mention", thinks I. Then I open it. Ap-pa-pa-pa-partment Therapy?????? At which point my mouth gets dry and my spine turns to jelly.
Total shock is the only way I can describe my reaction.

Oooo Eeeee!! Great congrats on the feature, Bob!! And the lockets you've collaborated on are seriously beautiful.
ReplyDeletePS I purchased a small serving tray the other day at my local thrift shop paradise and thought of you. Why, you might ask?! Because it's from Expo '67!
Ex....Ex....Expo? Do I at least get to see it? Pretty please?
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. That is, once I've committed to memory all of your photo tutorial tips for crappy cameras. Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteActually, I have to find the cord to the digital, it's gone AWOL and the thing's out of battery... But hey, for the love of all things Expo, I've just done a Google images search. And I'll be damned! The first image that popped up was my little tray! Ta Da! Check it out:

That's a blast, especially because the photo on the left has nothing to do with Expo at all. It's the Faculty of Medicine at McGill.
ReplyDeleteI love it.
Ok. Mystery solved! I had no idea that was McGill. Thanks for putting me in the loop.
ReplyDeleteThe bottom of the tray (en Francais, up top) reads:
Montreal, Pavilion of Canada, Theme Pavilion
It was a sweeeeet find!
